Manchester City U19s will play Liverpool U19s in the quarter final of the Uefa Youth League.
Simon Davies’ side will face the Reds at the Academy Stadium on Wednesday 14 March, kick-off 3pm.
We booked our place in the last eight on Tuesday after securing a win over Inter Milan on penalties while Liverpool sealed a 2-0 victory over Manchester United.
Daniel Grimshaw was the hero at the Academy Stadium as the ‘keeper was in inspired form to save four spot kicks and in doing so atoned for an error which had gifted the visitors their opener, as the two sides played out a 1-1 draw in 90 minutes.
Should we be successful against Liverpool in March, the Blues will travel to Nyon for the semi-finals on April 20.
