A young City reserve side warmed up for the forthcoming season with a thumping win over Stalybridge Celtic on Tuesday night.
The Blues ran out 7-0 winners at Bower Fold, with Robbie Mak hitting a hat-trick.
Our other scorers were Alex Nimely-Tchuimeni, Scott Kay, David Ball and James Poole.
The Reserves’ next outing will be next Wednesday, August 12th, when they take on Bolton Wanderers in the Senior Cup at the Regional Athletics Arena. Kick off is at 7.00pm.
