City Reserves are back in action tonight as they take on Burnley in the Barclays Premier Reserve League North in the Regional Athletics Arena at Sportcity (7pm).
Glyn Hodges’ side stand third, on the same points total as Liverpool and current leaders Manchester United, have the opportunity to go back to the top of the table, however briefly.
City are returning to home turf off the back of a deserved victory at Sunderland last time out but Burnley - who have fielded their manager Owen Coyle this season - are no slouches.
Hodges has his England Under-20 players back from international duty in Egypt, with midfielder Michael Johnson continuing his comeback after injury. City: Nielsen, Trippier, Cunningham, Boyata, Mee, Johnson, Mak, Clayton, Ball, Nimely, Poole. Subs: Tutte, T Johansen, Marshall, Ibrahim, Redshaw.
