City's Elite Development Squad kick off their 2010/11 league programme in their new home at Hyde's Ewen Fields on Tuesday evening.
Aston Villa are the visitors for the first fixture in this season’s Barclays Premier Reserve League, which kicks off at 7pm.
Changes to the format of the league will see City take on sides from further afield than in previous years, with a talented Arsenal side the next team to take on the young Blues at Hyde’s newly-refurbished ground in a fortnight.
City’s coach Andy Welsh is putting the emphasis on youth, with the Blues set to feature the next generation of talented youngsters to have emerged from the Club’s Academy system.
Admission costs just £3 for adults and £1 for under 16s. The postcode for Ewen Fields is SK14 5PL.
