David Ball has moved to League One side Peterborough United in a permanent deal.

The 21-year-old striker scored three times during a loan spell at Swindon Town earlier this season, and now he joins Darren Ferguson’s squad as they lie just outside the play-off positions.

Although he never played for the first team, the City Academy graduate helped write a memorable chapter in the club’s history when his penalty secured victory in the 2008 FA Youth Cup final.

Everybody at the club wishes David the very best of luck for the future.
