Donal McDermott has joined promotion-chasing League One club Bournemouth on loan for the rest of the season and is in line to make his Cherries debut against Charlton on Saturday.
The 21-year-old Republic of Ireland-born striker or midfielder had successful spells on loan at Chesterfield and Scunthorpe last season after signing a new contract with City.
Bournemouth are managed by former City striker Lee Bradbury.
