Los Rojas reach the last four of the UEFA u19 European Championships thanks to goals from Suarez and Alcacer.

City EDS midfielder Denis Suarez continued his European u19 Championships campaign in style, with a goal in Spain’s 2-0 win over Estonia. Suarez struck the holder’s first goal in the 39th minute to seal top spot in Group A.

Manchester City’s Young Player of the Year was making his first start in the tournament, having only played ten minutes prior to this, his nation’s third and final group match, but he made his mark, arriving onto a cross by Barcelona’s Gerard Deulofeu with a neat sidefooted finish.

Valencia striker Paco Alcacer netted Spain’s second goal of the game with four minutes remaining, which confirmed first place in the group and a meeting with England, Croatia or France in the last four.

England u19s take on France later on Monday, knowing that a win will see them join Spain and Greece in the semi-finals.
