The goals have been flooding in for the City players this term – particularly at the Etihad Stadium.

Fans have been spoilt with exciting attacking displays and goals galore and with the Blues in such fine form, The List examines how chances translate to goals with a look at shot/conversion rate in all competitions this season.

Here are the results…

Samir Nasri 35.7%

Five goals from just 14 shots puts Samir Nasri top of this statistically impressive table. The Frenchman inspired the 3-0 win over Swansea in the league, netting twice as he helped put the Welsh side to the sword. Nasri has also won the man of the match award – as voted by you – in the last two matches at the Etihad Stadium, demonstrating how his creative flair isn’t merely limited to goals. The midfielder has six assists to his name as his campaign continues to go from strength to strength.

Yaya Toure 33.3%

Two goals in the clash with West Brom at the Hawthorns took Yaya Toure’s goal tally to nine for the season, a pretty impressive figure for a midfielder! The Ivorian gave us a glimpse of what we could expect on opening day against Newcastle with a beautiful free-kick, and stepped up against the Baggies to fire home from the spot as he expanded his expertise with a dead-ball. With a conversion rate of a goal for every three shots this term, teams will be keen to stop Yaya from getting anywhere near the penalty area…

Alvaro Negredo 30.8%

‘The Beast’ has had a prolific start to the life at the Etihad Stadium – on the score-sheet 12 times from a mere 39 shots on goal in all competitions, Alvaro Negredo appears well suited to life in England.  Forming a formidable partnership with Sergio Aguero, the duo have been unstoppable at times.  A hat-trick in the home clash with CSKA Moscow and netting within five minutes of coming on against Plzen are just two highlights for the Spaniard to date.
