In a month where we brought you a video compliation of his first 50 goals for the club, Aguero hit sparkling form, netting six goals in five games and also chipping in with a couple of assists.
As a result, the former Atletico Madrid man cruised to victory by a landslide. He topped the voting with a staggering 2289 votes, whilst David Silva came second with 439 and new recruit Fernandinho came third with 127.
One lucky UK fan will now be chosen to present the award to Aguero in person at City’s Carrington training ground, whilst our overseas winner will receive a special video message from the Argentine.
