David Silva has been voted the Etihad Player of the Month for March.

The City play-maker polled two thirds of the total vote, with Yaya Toure finishing as the runner up and Martin Demichelis third.

Silva has been in inspirational form for most of the season and is already a strong contender for the Blues’ Player of the Year award.

The winning entrants will be announced shortly, with one UK-based voter presenting the award to David in person and one overseas winner receiving a personal video message.
