With City having notched four wins, a draw and a solitary defeat including memorable victories over neighbours United and German champions Bayern Munich, Manuel Pellegrini’s side enjoyed a productive month, with some claiming it to be potentially season-defining.
And while there were top quality displays all over the pitch, three players really stood out, earning them nominations for the Etihad Player of the Month award.
Step forward...
Yaya Toure
Yaya returned to somewhere near peak form in November where he also re-discovered his shooting boots.
The Ivorian’s superb goal against CSKA was the only highlight of a miserable evening and his sublime pass to Aguero at QPR set up a vital equaliser - but there was more to come with a cracking goal against Swansea and another vital strike against Southampton.
The midfielder has been key.
Sergio Aguero
November proved to be another stunning month for his exploits in October with even more goals.
His winner against Manchester United at the start of November set the tone, followed by a match-saving double against QPR, a stunning hat-trick in the 3-2 win over Bayern Munich and two assists against Southampton.
What a month!
Joe Hart
Joe has made so many superb saves lately, it’s hard to keep track of them all!
The England ‘keeper has been at his very best in recent weeks and perhaps his triple save inside 10 seconds at Southampton is the best example of a man at the top of his game.
Another worthy candidate.
