City will face Wigan Athletic at home in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup.

The tie presents the chance for Manuel Pellegrini‘s men to seek revenge for last year’s final defeat, whilst also bringing Latics manager Uwe Rosler back to Manchester to face his former club.

The sides met earlier this season in the Capital One Cup, with City running out 5-0 winners on that occasion. A double from Stevan Jovetic plus goals from Edin DzekoYaya Toure and Jesus Navas secured the win:

With City at home in this clash, the Blues stand a great chance of reaching Wembley for what would be the second time this season.

All ties will be played on either 8 or 9 March. Fixture and ticket details will be announced on mcfc.co.uk in due course...
