City have been drawn against either Bristol City or Watford in the fourth-round of the FA Cup, should the Blues triumph in their third-round replay with Blackburn.

City will be at home if they make it to the fourth-round but will not find out until later this month which team they will face.

Should Watford be the side to visit the Etihad Stadium, it will be the second year in succession they will have done so. Last time out, City sailed past the Hornets with a 3-0 win on their way to Wembley.

The sides have also met in the FA Cup before. During in the 1985/86 season, the Blues were knocked out after three replays but they exacted their revenge in the 1996/97 campaign with a 3-1 win.

City last met Bristol City at Ashton Gate in the league cup in the 2007/08 season. On that occasion, the Blues ran out 2-1 winners with goals from Emile Mpenza and Rolando Bianchi.
