City legends were out in force on Thursday morning to herald the launch of City’s new Nike 2014/15 home kit.

To mark the big reveal, eleven unsuspecting fans were invited to the Etihad Stadium.

Having been taken to the Barclays Premier League champions’ changing room, they were surprised to find their very own personalised versions of the new kit, hanging on the hooks usually occupied by the shirts of their heroes, such as Sergio Aguero, Vincent Kompany and Joe Hart.

Ex-City legend Paul Lake and former kit man, Les “Chappy” Chapman, presented the lucky fans with the shirts as a reward for being part of the Club’s new Cityzens membership scheme.

They received the jersey a full seven days before it is officially released to the public, meaning they will be the envy of their City-supporting friends.
