Edin Dzeko scored yet another international goal - his 37th to date - as Bosnia cruised to a 3-0 win over Liechtenstein.

The City striker skippered his country to victory in Tuzla with a goal in the 24th minute, carrying the ball into the box before dropping his shoulder to the left, ghosting past a defender and rifling the ball home.

That put Bosnia 3-0 up and completed an easy win with Stuttgart striker Vedad Ibisevic scoring the other two goals on 2 and 14 minutes.

Vincent Kompany also captained his country to victory, with the Red Devils scoring a goal in each half to see off Australia 2-0 in Liege. Kompany showed no signs of the calf problem that had caused some initial concern, much to the relief of Belgium and City.

David Silva was a 58th minute sub for Spain who continued their recent poor run with a 1-0 defeat to France where Bacary Sagna and Eliaquim Mangala were unused subs.
