Sergio Aguero is one of five Premier League players up for the 2014/15 North West Footballer of the Year award.

The City striker, who was crowned the Etihad Player of the Year in August, is up against Tom Heaton of Burnley, Liverpool’s Philippe Coutinho, Everton defender Phil Jagielka and United goalkeeper David De Gea.

Raheem Sterling is up for the Mob Sport Rising Star award along with Jose Angel Tasende (Angelino) United defender, Axel Tuanzebe and Everton’s Brendan Galloway.

Jill Scott has been nominated for the Women’s Player of the Year – an award previously won by Toni Duggan and Steph Houghton and Nikita Parris will be hoping to land the inaugural women’s Rising Star award, too.

Voting for all Player of the Year and Mob Sport Rising Star categories is open until Friday, 16 October.
