The Premier League kick off, a New York derby and a crucial FAWSL clash – it’s an action-packed City Weekend...

We’ve pulled together all the fixtures from across the next few days so you can get your City fix.

Here’s your weekend at a glance…

MCFC

West Brom v MCFC, Monday 10 August 8pm

After the long summer without competitive football, City are back…

Manuel Pellegrini takes his side to the Hawthorns to take on West Brom in the club’s 2015/16 Premier League curtain raiser. Having finished either first or second for the last four seasons straight, MCFC will be looking to challenge for a third Premier League title.

Talking points abound for this fixture, while we could see Sergio Aguero’s new no.10 shirt should the Argentine make the squad after his Copa America summer.

MCWFC

Arsenal Ladies v MCWFC, Sunday 9 August 6pm

After winning all five of their matches in July, MCWFC kick off August with a mouth-watering clash against second-placed Arsenal.

Having won every game since the end of the World Cup, Nick Cushing’s side have played themselves into title contention and a victory in London would leave them one point behind the second place Gunners with a game in hand.

We’ll have full commentary on twitter as MCWFC look to continue their hot streak into a sixth game.

Elite Development Squad

Southampton u21s v City EDS, Monday 10 August 7pm

Patrick Vieira’s EDS side kick off their u21 Premier League campaign just 60 minutes in advance of the first team with an away trip to Southampton.

After a mixed pre-season in which a clutch of EDS regulars went on the first team tour, this represents a return to the bread and butter of the domestic league.

City will have fond memories of the last time they visited Southampton, after winning 4-0 in the penultimate game of last season.

City u18s

U18s v Liverpool, Saturday 8 August 11am

Jason Wilcox’s side kick off the 2015/16 season with a home game against Liverpool at the Academy Stadium looking to take maximum points from the opener.

After winning four out of four pre-season games, and scoring 22 goals along the way, confidence is high across a talented young team likely to be packed with first year scholars.

Tickets are available on the day – full details here.

New York City FC

New York Red Bulls v NYCFC, Sunday 9 August 7pm EST (midnight UK)

It’s the third New York derby of the season this weekend, and NYCFC travel out to New Jersey to take on the Red Bulls.

Jason Kreis’ men will be looking for their first win in this fixture, as well as a return to winning ways after last week’s heartbreaking late defeat to Montreal Impact.

There is plenty of City interest too – loanee duo Angelino will be looking to impress, while former blue Frank Lampard is in line for his first MLS start.

The game will be broadcast live on FOX Sports in the USA, while UK viewers can tune in on Sky Sports 1.

Melbourne City

The A League season kicks off again in October 2015.

Yokohama F Marinos

Nagoya Grampus v Yokohama F Marinos, 12 August 8pm local time (11am UK)

Yokohama have the weekend off but take to the field on Wednesday night looking to arrest a two game losing streak away to Nagoya Grampus.
