We start our round-up in England and Brandon Barker was a 77th minute sub for Rotherham in their SkyBet Championship defeat against Wolves at the AESSEAL New York Stadium. The Millers brought Barker on when they were 2-1 down, but the 19-year old was unable to change his team’s fortunes as the score line remained the same.

In the Emirates FA Cup, George Evans played 77 minutes for Walsall as they drew 1-1 with Chesterfield in the first round to set up a replay next Tuesday. The 20-year old set up Jason Demetriou for the opening goal of the game and it looked like the Saddlers were set to go through to the second round until Lee Novak popped up in the 90th minute to send it to a replay. Brentford await the winners of the replay and it could set up a re-union between Walsall and Dean Smith, who left the League One club to take charge of the Bees last week.
Elsewhere, Bruno Zuculini was an unused sub in Middlesbrough’s 2-0 victory over Ipswich Town on Friday night.
In France, Seko Fofana was a second half substitute for Bastia in their 2-1 home defeat against Monaco.
Three of our youngsters are on loan in the Netherlands and two out of the three played this past match day. Jack Byrne, who is on loan at Cambuur, played 62 minutes in their 3-0 away defeat at Willem II whilst Thomas Agyepong featured for 64 minutes for FC Twente as they drew 1-1 at Excelsior. In the Eerste Divisie, Divine Naah was an unused sub as his NAC Breda side beat Jong PSV 3-0.
Genoa travelled to face Inter at the weekend and Olivier Ntcham was an unused sub as they lost 1-0 to the 10-man Nerazzurri at the San Siro.
Finally, Enes Unal was a last minute sub as Genk drew 0-0 with Anderlecht to leave them seventh in the Jupiler League.
