Barcelona

Luis Enrique’s men qualified top of Group F, earning 15 points from their six games. Their one defeat came away at Paris Saint Germain (3-2) but they were otherwise flawless against Ajax and APOEL.

Draw reaction:

Txiki Begiristain (City director of football):  “We faced Barcelona in the last 16 before, and now the same again. We will face up to it, of course, and we’re convinced we have improved the team and can qualify from this tie.”

Luis Enrique (Barcelona coach): “They are a very difficult team, among the toughest two teams in the draw, the team everyone wanted to avoid and a team that are one of the contenders to win the Champions League.”
