The Spain winger, who pushed James Milner for man-of-the-match honours after an excellent display where he was both a threat going forward and he also worked tirelessly tracking back to help defend when needed too as well.
Navas says if the champions play their normal game and do what they do best, the goals and victories should start again.
“We go into this game on the back of a very good performance at Chelsea where we were very strong and disciplined and we will continue that against Hull on Saturday,” said Navas.
“We have our own way of playing against teams and we concentrate on ourselves more than the opposition because if we play fast, attacking football we know we will win games more often than not. “
The Blues drew blanks against Arsenal and Middlesbrough in the last two home games, but Navas, is convinced the champions will kick on again after their recent blip in form.

“We have continued to make chances and I think we’ve been unlucky in the last few weeks because things didn’t quite go our way. We haven’t won for three games and we need to start a new winning run this weekend.”
Navas has been almost a permanent fixture the first team, this season, clocking up 33 appearances so far in all competition, though he says he is not feeling any fatigue despite the number of appearances to date and his tireless work-rate during matches.
“Personally I’m in a very good place mentally and physically and at a club like City, you are prepared to play a lot of games,” he said.
“The manager ensures that the team and the players are as fresh as possible for each game and I feel great. I am enjoying playing every week and just want to continue working hard and contributing to the team.”
