Time is running out for fans to vote for Sergio Aguero to adorn the cover of EA SPORTS FIFA 16!

For the first time, supporters have a say on who they would like to see alongside Lionel Messi on the front of the game - and Kun is one of the nominees.

City’s Argentinian ace could appear on two of the five global versions of the game - UK and Latin America – but he needs YOUR help to win.

You need to vote for City’s star man to ensure he beats the competition - but you only have until 5 July to help our super striker.

For the UK edition, Aguero is up against Thibault Courtois (Chelsea), Jordan Henderson (Liverpool) and Harry Kane (Tottenham Hotspur).

For the LATAM edition, Aguero faces competition from: Claudio Bravo (Barcelona), Edinson Cavani (Paris Saint-Germain), Juan Cuadrado (Chelsea), Jose Rondon (Zenit St. Petersburg) and Carlos Zambrano (Eintract Frankfurt).

Voting

Voting is open until 5 July 2015. The winner will be announced on 10 July.

You can also show your support on Facebook, Google+ or Twitter, using the hashtags #FIFA16UKcover and #VoteAguero. When you do this, you give your favourite player an additional 10 points. This can be done once a day throughout the entire campaign.

Additional points can also be gained by playing FIFA 15. 

When you vote for your player through the portal, you will be given the option to link your Origin ID. Once linked, actions you perform in FIFA 15 will go towards your player.

Points earned through FIFA 15:

- 5 points for every game you play in FIFA 15, regardless of mode
- 5 points for every game you win in FIFA 15, regardless of mode
- 25 points for every goal you score in FIFA 15, regardless of mode

Points from in-game play is rewarded regardless of the clubs, players or modes you choose. You must have your Origin ID linked in order to earn points this way.

Can anyone vote?

Yes! Even if your region isn’t involved in the cover vote, you can still participate in all aspects of the vote (by visiting the voting portals and by linking your account and playing FIFA 15).

One thing to remember is that each vote region is separate. If you want to lend your support to multiple campaigns, remember to visit each page to make your selection!

Prizes

Once you have reached 50 points in a week (16-21 June, 22-28 June, and/or 29 June - 5 July), we will reward you with one free Gold Pack in FIFA Ultimate Team (FUT). You can get up to three packs during the voting period.

Please note: pack rewards are not instantaneous. All packs will be issued following the closing of the week’s voting phase.

For those people in the five participating voting regions, there is an additional grand prize giveaway available to be won. If your player wins, every vote you cast will be entered into a draw to win a special FIFA 16 prize package. Please check the specific voting pages for additional details.
