City will face West Brom without three first team players after boss Manuel Pellegrini delivered a fitness report at Friday's press conference.

City will be without Yaya Toure, James Milner and Aleks Kolarov for the game.

Toure is struggling with an Achilles problem, while Kolarov (muscle) and Milner (knee) will not be risked for the lunch-time kick-off.

Manager Pellegrini said at his press conference: “We have three problems. Yaya has a problem with his Achilles tendon so he won’t be there tomorrow.

“Kolarov has a muscle problem and Milner has played with a problem in his knee for the last month, so I don’t think they will make it. All the other players are fit.”

One player who is fit and in-form is goalkeeper Joe Hart after his stellar performance in defeat against Barcelona at Camp Nou.

Pellegrini paid tribute to the progress Hart has made during the last two seasons.

The manager added: “He has improved a lot from last year. He was a good goalkeeper, now he is a football player who plays as a goalkeeper.”

Pellegrini hinted he may make changes for the Baggies game given the quick turn around from Wednesday night’s Champions League fixture.

He said: “It’s not the best moment to play because we haven’t had long to recover. Maybe we are going to refresh the team mentally.

“It’s important to have a good performance and score at the beginning.”
