City youngster Brandon Barker has gone on loan to Rotherham until 17 January.
The 19-year-old has been on the bench six times this season for Manuel Pellegrini’s squad in the Premier League, Champions League and the Capital One Cup.
He will now continue his football education with Championship side Rotherham and is eligible to play in the FA Cup for the Millers.
The winger has played four times for Patrick Vieira’s EDS side this season, providing one assist, and scored two goals for England’s under-20s side.
Barker will now try and help lift manager Neil Redfearn’s Yorkshire side off the bottom of the table, and will be in the frame for a place in the squad against Ipswich at the New York Stadium tomorrow.
