City have been handed a home draw in the Capital One Cup quarter-final.
The Blues will face Steve Bruce’s Hull City at the Etihad on either the 1st or 2nd of December with the winners guaranteed a two-legged semi-final.
The teams haven’t met in the League Cup since October 1963 when City triumphed 3-0 at Boothferry Park in the third round.
