The Argentine ace scored five goals in the space of 20 minutes on a day that no-one present inside the Etihad Stadium will ever forget.
Here are the numbers behind Kun’s incredible achievement…
3 – Kun is the third fastest player to reach 80 Premier League goals in the history of the competition. It’s taken him 128 games to reach that landmark – only Alan Shearer and Ruud Van Nistelrooy have done it quicker.
5 – He became the fifth player to score five goals in a single Premier League game, joining Andy Cole, Alan Shearer, Jermain Defoe and Dimitar Berbatov. Aguero’s five-goal haul was the fastest.
6 – Sergio is now just one goal behind Jamie Vardy in the early running for the Golden Boot award with six goals in the Premier League – that’s the same number Newcastle have scored in total.
7 – He took seven shots in total against Newcastle with only two of them not leading to goals.
9 – Kun touched the ball nine times between the 42nd and 62nd minutes and scored five times.
10 – It’s 10 months since City came from behind to win a Premier League match – the last time they did it was in December 2014 against Sunderland.
14 – The 27-year old has now scored 14 goals in 13 Premier League appearances in the month of October.
20 – All five of Sergio’s goals were scored in 20 minutes, between the 42nd and the 62nd minute – it was the fastest five-goal haul in the history of the Premier League.
22 - There were 22 seconds between Aguero’s second and third goals.
84 - Aguero now has 84 Premier League goals, level with Cristiano Ronaldo and Carlos Tevez.
200 - The hat-trick goal was the 200th goal scored in the Premier League overall this season.
424 – It had been 48 days and 424 Premier League minutes since Sergio last scored a goal in open play – the strike against Chelsea on 16 August 2015.
