Joe Hart and Raheem Sterling were both rested as England made it a perfect ten from their Euro 2016 qualifying group.

Goals from Ross Barkley, Alex Oxlade Chamberlain and a Giedrius Arlauskis own goal secured a comfortable 3-0 win over Lithuania in Vilnius.

Sterling was left out of the starting XI for the final Euro 2016 qualifier as Head Coach Roy Hodgson opted for an experimental line-up full of fringe members of the squad.

Hart was rested for the trip and didn’t travel along with fellow senior regulars Gary Cahill, Michael Carrick, James Milner and Wayne Rooney.

England topped the group with 30 points from a possible 30 and will be top seeds when the Euro 2016 group stage draw is made.

Elsewhere, injured David Silva played no part for already-qualified Spain as they won 1-0 away at Ukraine.

The European Championship finals draw will be made on 12 December in Paris.
