While some have enjoyed victories with their countries, others have suffered defeat - and worse, injury.
As reported this morning, Sergio Aguero was stretchered off in tears after just 24 minutes of Argentina’s defeat to Ecuador. We’ll share the latest on the extent of the knock as soon as we can.
As aforementioned though, there was brighter news for some of our other roaming stars. Here’s a pictorial round-up of their progress...
Nicolas Otamendi, Aguero and Martin Demichelis (accompanied by Pablo Zabaleta) jetted off to represent La Albiceleste.
On your head, Martin!
Unsurprisingly, Pablo got stuck in at training.
Aguero started the game...
...but sadly, his night was brought to an early end.
There was better news for Aleks Kolarov and Serbia - the left-back netted an injury-time winner against Albania.
Bacary Sagna was also on the winning side as France defeated Armenia 4-0. Eliaquim Mangala was an unused substitute.
Fernandinho spoke to the press before Brazil’s clash with Chile, but he didn’t feature in the 2-0 loss.
Joe Hart also addressed the media, declaring he feels Raheem Sterling can set the footballing world alight.
Here’s the shot-stopper in training with fellow goalkeepers Jack Butland and Tom Heaton.
Sterling spots the camera. England host Estonia in a Euro qualifier tonight.
Keepy-uppys.
