As the Londoners were the 39th team Lampard had notched against, he overtook Andy Cole’s record to write his name into the history books.
Reflecting on the achievement, the England legend declared: “I’m very proud. I’ve always been a fan of the Guinness World Book of Records.
“I set goals throughout my career to break records and this is one I never imagined to get. I am a big fan of the books so to feature in it is amazing.”
Looking back to the goal that earned him his inclusion, he admitted: “It was strange. It’s quite hard to put it into words.
Although delighted with the feat, when asked whether he could name all 39 of the Premier League clubs he’d scored against, Lampard only managed 21! Can you name them all?
