Jesus Navas says City must follow up the victory over Paris St Germain with three points at Stamford Bridge.

The in-form winger says there is still plenty of work ahead for the Blues in the Premier League in order to secure Champions League qualification and that there can be no loss of focus on the task ahead.

“We have to keep getting three points out of each game,” said Navas. ”We have done well in the last couple of games and we must keep it that way.

“We are feeling very confident and we are working together to achieve our goal. As I say, we are keeping the ball nicely and creating danger.

“Chelsea are a dangerous team. We know this is one of the toughest games we could have at this stage but we can’t afford any slip-ups.”

Navas also had praise for Manuel Pellegrini ahead of the trip to West London, adding: “We are always with him. We always have his back. His everyday work is amazing, he deserves the best.

“He is a manager that always demands our best. He tries to get best out of us in every situation. He is an exceptional manager and he deserves the best.”

With Friday’s Champions League draw firmly in the minds of everybody connected to the Club, Navas admits the team are still on a high after eliminating PSG and looking forward to learning who the next opponents will be.

He said: “This is a very important step forward for us, for the Club, and for the fans. We are very happy about the way we beat PSG.

“The important thing was that we get to be in the semi-final. We will have to work hard to get ready for those games as well as keep our focus on the Premier League.”
