Enes Unal continued his impressive form for FC Twente with a goal in Saturday’s clash with Alkmaar.

The hosts fell to defeat but the forward levelled the score with an instinctive finish, lifting him into double figures for the Dutch outfit.

Unal completed 90 minutes along with Bersant Celina. Yaw Yeboah was introduced with eight minutes remaining.

Meanwhile, Brandon Barker and Ashley Smith-Brown featured for NAC Breda, who secured a 3-1 triumph over FC Emmen.

The winger played the full 90 and the defender was brought off the bench on 79 minutes.

Joe Hart had a day to forget. The goalkeeper, who has impressed for much of the season, saw Dries Mertens score an eight-minute hat-trick as Torino lost 5-3 to Napoli. The result leaves Torino in ninth place in the Serie A table.

Genoa lost 4-3 at home to Palermo, with Oliver Ntcham coming on after half an hour to replace Miguel Veloso.

Closer to home, Jason Denayer played the full 90 minutes as Sunderland defeated Watford at the Stadium of Light.

The Belgian centre-half was deployed in midfield and impressed. Sunderland are now 18th, just one point from safety.

Also in England, Aaron Mooy starred in Huddersfield’s 2-1 victory at Norwich, earning national acclaim.

George Glendon lasted 89 minutes of Fleetwood’s 1-1 draw at Swindon.

Meanwhile in Spain, French midfielder Samir Nasri played as Sevilla beat Malaga 4-1 to move up to second in the La Liga table.

Sevilla scored their four goals in the space of 11 crazy first-half minutes, with Nasri playing a quite brilliant ball in the build up to their third, and are now ahead of Barcelona in the table, although, the Catalan giants have a game in hand.

Also in Spain, Colombian winger Marlos Moreno came on for the final moments of Deportivo la Coruna’s 2-0 win over Osasuna, replacing former Liverpool winger Ryan Babel.
