Youngsters to have a chance to shine?

Phil Foden could become one of City’s youngest ever players if he comes off the bench this evening. The 16-year-old is named among the subs for tonight’s game with Tosin Adarabioyo and Pablo Maffeo in the starting XI. Guardiola can cal upon senior stars Sergio Aguero, John Stones and Nicolas Otamendi should he feel the need.

Those not included and why...

Kevin De Bruyne, David Silva, Claudio Bravo and Aleksandar Kolarov have all been rested for this evening’s game with a trip to face current Premier League champions Leicester City this weekend in mind.

Fernandinho will serve a Champions League one-match ban while Raheem Sterling, Fabian Delph and Vincent Kompany are not fit.

Yaya Toure and Aleix Garcia are ineligible for tonight’s game.
