Blues to go 4-1-4-1?

On paper, it looks as though City will keep a fluid formation but start as 4-1-4-1 with Ilkay Gundogan in front of the back four and Nolito spearheading the attack.

Sterling and De Bruyne should provide the width with David Silva and Toure behind Nolito.

That said, Yaya could start alongside Gundogan in a 4-2-3-1 formation – there will no doubt be one or two permutations depending on how the game flows.

Watford starting XI:

Gomes, Janmaat, Prödl, Britos, Holebas; Pereyra, Guedioura, Capoue; Amrabat, Ighalo, Sinclair.
