Always embroiled in drama, the Blues may well have ridden more rollercoasters than the Guinness World Record holder, putting the fans through the mill in the process.
That’s certainly been the case this season. On an incredible number of occasions, Manuel Pellegrini’s men have stolen victory from the jaws of draw or defeat - and while it may not do the old heart much good, it’s entertaining, I’ll give them that!
Saturday’s clash at Vicarage Road produced another late show to somehow turn the game in City’s favour and snatch all three points, with Sergio Aguero’s header marking the Club’s sixth league strike netted after 85 minutes this season.
Look back on some of the other occasions City have left it late in what’s proving to be another topsy-turvy campaign...
Icing on the cake: Fernandinho’s late effort against Chelsea capped a stunning 3-0 win over the champions.
The points are ours: Similarly, Samir Nasri‘s 89th-minute strike sealed victory at Goodison Park.
Rising star: In one of the highlights of the season, Kelechi Iheanacho pounced in injury time - 54 seconds after coming off the bench - to snatch a win at Crystal Palace and bag his first senior goal.
Spot on spot-kick: Aguero stepped up to net a last-gasp penalty, handing the Blues a pivotal triumph at Borussia Monchengladbach in the Champions League.
Five-star City: Wilfried Bony capped an impressive display, scoring his second of the game with a minute of normal time remaining against Bournemouth.
European City break: Another vital Champions League strike - Kevin De Bruyne’s injury-time drive clinched a win over Sevilla.
A night to remember: A dream debut for Manu Garcia saw the youngster score late on in a 5-1 Capital One Cup win over Crystal Palace.
Nerves of steel: Just as Norwich looked to have snatched a point at the Etihad, Yaya Toure converted a spot-kick to reclaim the lead.
Taming the Tigers: KDB bagged a brace in a seven-minute blitz, which also saw Iheanacho find the net, against Hull in the Capital One Cup quarter-final.
Sterling work: In one of the most important games of the season, City scored three times in five minutes late on to beat Borussia Monchoengladbach 4-2, and to win Group D of the Champions League.
Anything can happen: The Blues looked to have thrown two points away when Swansea equalised in added time - only to retake the lead moments later, as Toure’s effort deflected in off Iheanacho.
Stinging the Hornets: An astounding fightback saw Toure level the score and Aguero head the winner with fives minutes left at Watford.
