Here are four things we learned from the clash…
King Kun
The man who has rescued the Blues on so many occasions already (some of those being rather crucial occasions at that!), did so again in the capital.
We could fill books, describing just how good Sergio Aguero is - and when he’s 100% fit, it seems he can execute the impossible.
The Argentine could have had a hat-trick at Upton Park (we’ll settle for the two...) and Manuel Pellegrini believes he’s back to his brilliant best.
Kun told us on Friday the goals would flow once he was back to full fitness and his boss’ claims look justified, judging by some of the striker’s play.
Aguero had already struck the post with a moment of brilliance before winning and despatching the penalty to draw the game level, and he almost snatched all three points in injury time - only to drive straight at Adrian.
Hart of Gold
No City fan needs telling how important Joe Hart is to the Blues.
Yesterday, he demonstrated it once again with a stunning stop to deny Dimitri Payet, whose free-kick looked destined for the top corner.
It’s already been deemed by some as the Save of the Season (you’ll see it tonight in our highlights package) - and the shot-stopper admitted afterwards he was pleased with it!
The Hammers may have taunted City and England’s number one before the game on their Snapchat account...

...but it clearly didn’t phase Hart as he proved once more he’s head and shoulders above the rest! (Sorry...)
A point gained or two points dropped?
Manuel Pellegrini admitted a draw was not what the Blues wanted, whilst Aguero declared on Twitter he was unsatisfied with the result.
But considering it came at a ground where the Hammers were unbeaten in eight, on a day when City weren’t at their best defensively, is it really a bad point?
Not for the first time this season, Pellegrini’s men showed character to grind out a result late on.
Although of course, we’d rather not have to come from behind to salvage a draw, the fact we did - twice - shows there’s some fight.
City are second in the table - just three points behind Leicester - and with the Foxes and Arsenal yet to visit the Etihad, who knows how important such points picked up on the road could be?
Young Gun
Kelechi Iheanacho is quickly earning a reputation as a ‘super sub’.
Having already found the net from the bench three times this season, the youngster made another key impact at Upton Park, initiating the move which allowed Aguero to equalise for a second time.
A positive influence, providing support for Kun, the striker is certainly proving his worth for more appearances - and perhaps some starts.

In the big games, our fans can make a difference.
