An evil cackle comes from the City Football Academy and a bolt of lightning fills the sky, our FrankenCity monster is complete!

Over the last week we have asked you to help us create the ultimate City player and the results are in.

Right foot – Sergio Aguero

68% of the votes meant a comfortable victory for our hotshot Argentinian. The club’s top scorer in the Premier League saw off competition from Yaya Toure, Shaun Wright-Phillips and Mike Summerbee as the best right foot to have represented the club.

The striker has found the net 136 times in his five years since joining from Atletico Madrid with his deadly right foot being responsible for 98 of them. It’s not just the numbers that are so impressive, with Aguero being responsible for some of the biggest moments in the club’s history.

I’m sure we can all remember one…

Left foot – David Silva

The biggest winner across all six polls, El Mago and his charmed left foot took this title with 84% of you voting in his favour.

Fans have swooned over the playmaker since his arrival in 2010 and his left foot has been directly responsible for a host of goals scored by the likes of Carlos Tevez and Sergio Aguero in recent years.

Making up the numbers but never really coming close to the Spanish metronome were Gareth Barry, Stuart Pearce and Neil Young.

Lungs – Carlos Tevez

To breathe a bit of life into our player we asked you for the lungs and you elected for another great Argentinian; Carlos Tevez. Colin Bell, Fernandinho and James Milner all ran the striker close but to no avail as Tevez gathered 39% of the vote.

Coming up against some of the toughest defences in England and Europe while at the Etihad Stadium, Tevez would often huff and puff and almost always blow the opposition’s defence down.

Heart – Pablo Zabaleta

Pablo came out on top in yet another battle as he beat Richard Dunne, Bert Trautmann and Mike Doyle to be the heart of our City monster with 78% of the vote.

Eight seasons at the club have shown Zabaleta to be a true warrior. The Argentinian right-back has become so ingrained with being a Blue that he now even considers himself ‘half Mancunian’.

His determination and sheer will to win have had a role in carrying City over the line in numerous matches that have helped shape where the club finds itself today.

Vision – Yaya Toure

Every great midfielder has to have a good eye for a pass but Yaya Toure has taken it to another level in his time at City.

The Ivorian’s vision was chosen ahead of that of Elano, Ali Benarbia and Eyal Berkovic as the perfect way for our monster to see the game.

66% of the vote shows that the many awe-inspiring, defence-splitting moments that Toure has had in a City shirt have made him a hero in the eyes of the fans.

Head – Vincent Kompany

Not just a great leader, Kompany’s heading ability has proved crucial in the trophy filled years under his captaincy.

As well as the countless defensive clearances, Kompany’s head scored one of the biggest goals in Manchester derby history in 2012 as he rose highest to power home and give City the advantage in the title race.

It is perhaps for this reason that the Belgian overcame defensive stalwarts Micah Richards, Dave Watson and Andy Morrison with 59% of the vote.
