He has won the Champions League twice plus seven domestic title with Barcelona B, Barcelona and Bayern Munich. Add two Copa Del Rey triumphs and two DFB-Pokal victories – the equivalent of the FA Cup in Spain and Germany plus three UEFA Super Cups and three FIFA Club World Cups and you’ve got the kind of honours list few achieve in a lifetime in football, let alone eight years.
18 – Pep’s success is not restricted to management- he won 18 different winner’s medals during his playing career – al with Barcelona where he was a first team regular for more than a decade between 1990 and 2001.
47 – The number of caps Pep won for Spain between 1992 and 2001, scoring five goals along the way. He made his debut against Northern Ireland in 1992 and his final match was against Mexico in 2001.
