La Albiceleste will be looking for their 15th success in the competition, while Chile, the current holders, have managed just one Copa America success to date.
The match will be played in the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey with City duo Nicolas Otamendi and Sergio Aguero hoping to start.
In a repeat of the group stage clash, Argentina will be looking to repeat the 2-1 victory achieved over the Chileans.
Argentina have won all their Copa America 100 games so far, following up the win over Chile with comfortable victories over Panama and Bolivia.
A 4-1 win over Venezuela followed by a 4-0 thrashing of hosts USA in the semi-final made it 18 goals in five games for Gerardo Martino’s men.
While Otamendi has started all five games do far, Aguero has started just one and come on as a late sub in three of the other four games playing a total of 138 minutes of football.
Martino has preferred Gonzalo Higuain throughout the tournament and is unlikely to change a winning formation at this stage.
Meanwhile Chile could be hitting form at just the right time. Having lost their opening game to Argentina, they laboured to a 2-1 win over Bolivia, winning the game with a controversial penalty 10 minutes into added time.
They then fell behind to Panama before recovering to win 4-2. Chile thrashed Mexico 7-0 in the quarter-finals with the best display of any side at Copa100 and then beat Colombia in the semis to win a place in the final and a chance to avenge the defeat earlier in the tournament.
Last year, Chile beat Argentina 4-1 on penalties after drawing 0-0 – can they make it back-to-back successes after waiting 99 years to win their first?
To do so, they will have to stop Lionel Messi who has been electric so far with five goals and four assists in just 254 minutes of football.
