Fernandinho admitted City need favours from other clubs in order to finish in a Champions League spot.

The Blues were held 2-2 by top four rivals Arsenal and Manchester United could overtake City if they win their game in hand next week.

The Reds go to West Ham before wrapping up their campaign at home to Bournemouth while City’s final match is against in-form Swansea at the Liberty Stadium.

“It is not going to be easy because we are no longer depending on ourselves.

“We need to win the last game then see what happens in the other matches, but of course we are disappointed today because we played well but then conceded two easy goals and this cost us a lot.

“We will go to Swansea to win and things could look a lot better by this time next week.”
