Victories in La Liga, Serie A and Celtic increase their grip on the SPL - not to mention a plethora of talent in action in the Dutch leagues – welcome to Loan Watch.

We begin our 23-player round-up in Eredivisie where FC Twente results have a particular interest for City fans this season.

The Blues have Enes Unal, Yaw Yeboah and Bersant Celina leading the line but it was only Unal who completed the full 90 minutes, picking up a caution during the 1-1 draw with Heracles.

Yeboah was subbed after 86 minutes and Celina, who was also booked, lasted 56 minutes.

Sinan Bytyqi claimed an 11th-minute assist as Go Ahead Eagles went ahead and beat Excelsior 3-0.

Elsewhere in Holland’s top tier Olexandr Zinchenko was a 56th-minute sub for PSV who drew 1-1 with Heerenveen for whom Shay Facey was an unused sub.

Dropping down a division, NAC Breda lost 2-1 at Volendam with Brandon Barker and Ashley Smith-Brown both playing the full 90 minutes – David Faupala did not feature.

In Italy, Joe Hart’s Torino continue their solid start to the campaign with a 2-1 win over Fiorentina, moving up to eight in Serie A.

40-man Golden Boy shortlist last week.

It was largely a good week for the Blues’ La Liga loan quartet, too.

Samir Nasri continued his bright start for Sevilla who beat Alaves 2-1 to move within a point of leaders Atletico Madrid - though the win was soured somewhat as the French playmaker had to come off after 56 minutes with a suspected hamstring injury.

Manu Garcia again didn’t feature for Alaves.

Marlos Moreno played for 68 minutes of Deportivo La Coruna’s 2-1 win over Sporting Gijon – his replacement Ryan Babel grabbed an injury time winner while Eliaquim Mangala’s Valencia went down 2-0 at home to Atleti.

Bruno Zuculini played no part in Segunda Liga Rayo Vallecano’s 3-0 win over Cadiz.

In Denmark, Zack Faour did not feature for FC Midtjylland’s senior side.

North of the Border Patrick Roberts was a74th-minute sub as Celtic increased their lead at the top to four points with a 1-0 win at Dundee.

Finally, coming full circle and returning to England, Wilfried Bony played 77 minutes of Stoke City’s 1-1 draw with Manchester United and Jason Denayer played the full game as Sunderland held West Brom 1-1 on Wearside.

In the lower leagues, only Kean Bryan featured as Bury were beaten 2-1 at home Scunthorpe United – neither Jack Byrne (Blackburn) or George Glendon (Fleetwood Town) played over the weekend.
