Manchester City’s official gamer, Kez Brown, will represent the Blues at this year’s Legia eSports Cup in Warsaw, Poland.

The tournament is the first of its kind and takes place next month, with Kez going head-to-head with professional eSports players from Legia Warsaw, Schalke 04, Wolfsburg, Ajax, Valencia, Paris Saint-Germain, West Ham United and Sporting Lisbon.

The main competition will see the gamers fight for FIFA 17 supremacy.

“The market of computer games and their popularity and diversity are growing every year and more and more European clubs initiate ambitious projects in this area”, says Jakub Szumielewicz, Vice President of Legia Warsaw, the team hosting this year’s event. “We are proud to officially inaugurate the activities of Legia Warsaw e-sports section during this important event. Founding the section is an element of the tradition of the Club encompassing various sports sections and it furthers our ambition to develop the Club in all fields.”

Kez was signed by City back in July as part of the growing interest in professional gaming across Europe’s top football clubs.

Everyone at City wishes him the best of luck!
