Gundogan made his City debut in the 4-0 Champions League win over Borussia Monchengladbach after almost five months out with a knee injury, but has slotted seamlessly into Pep Guardiola’s side.
He capped his second appearance for the Blues with a goal against Bournemouth, and he is now in line to make his first Germany appearance since the defeat in France in November last year.
