We’ve had plenty to celebrate and there’s been no shortage of gems on the internet, so here’s what caught our eye over the last seven days…
Captain fantastic
…”City love you more than you will know…” are the words sang from the stands for Vincent Kompany.
Well, that love is certainly reciprocated and it was evident from our captain’s passionate display following his goal at Southampton.
A great moment for the fans and the skipper and the goal wasn’t bad either.

The band in Blue
Take yourself back to 1997 for this one.
City unveiled a new badge and Oasis released their third consecutive number one album.
After the global success of their first two Manchester City’s most famous fans were at the centre of the music world as they prepared to unleash Be Here Now.
Promotion was still required, however, which is why this comic was published depicting Noel, Liam and the lads in an Oasis take on their beloved City’s kit.
It certainly did the trick – Be Here Now became the fastest selling album in British chart history and no doubt the Maine Road faithful played a part in this.
Manchester City Women
Where do we begin?
It’s been quite a week for Nick Cushing’s side and they’re most certainly deserving of all the City love.
It began with victory over Liverpool as they booked their spot in their first FA Cup final at Wembley next month and the good news continued with the PFA Team of the Year announcement on Thursday, with no fewer than five Blues selected.
