The trio, plus Arni Arason, Cityzens Saturday and our Lionesses all feature in the things we’re loving this week.
Kelechi’s thank you
As the young Nigerian sealed his move to Leicester last week, he took to Twitter to express his thanks to everyone at Manchester City, with this heartfelt message….
Thank you for everything. You all will forever be in my heart 💙@ManCity pic.twitter.com/OBJ8fjuB8M

Mendy’s dancing
He’s been here less than a month and the French full-back already has us laughing.
Providing a moment of light relief during a media day, Mendy showcased his moves for the CityTV cameras.

Arason recalls
Remember Arni Arason?
If you do, it’s no doubt because of that unforgettable FA Cup comeback against Spurs thirteen years ago.
With the Blues in his home town of Reykjavik to face the Hammers, the one time Blue spoke to the Manchester Evening News about that famous fightback.
Well worth a read and there’s also some positive words for new shot-stopper, Ederson.
Cityzens Saturday
What better way to mark the start of a new season than to bring our players and fans together.
From our 360 photograph, to the signing and selfie session before open training, we had a fantastic day and we hope you did too!
Check out the best bits…
All-star MCWFC
Whilst England’s European Championship campaign didn’t end as they’d hoped, Lucy Bronze and Steph Houghton can take some solace from their team of the tournament recognition.
The Blues’ defensive duo were named in the tournament’s best XI after impressing in the Lionesses’ run to the semi-finals.
Stop that, Celina
The on-loan Bersant Celina gave Ipswich fans an early glimpse of what he’s got in his locker with this effort.
Pick that out!
