The Belgian midfield maestro scored City’s second goal and delivered another man-of-the-match display as Pep Guardiola‘s men secured a record 16th straight Premier League win.
That has prompted renewed speculation the club could go through the season unbeaten in the league.
But asked whether the Blues were thinking about replicating the achievement of Arsenal’s Invincibles in 2003/04, KDB replied: “No, absolutely not.
“We are here to win titles. We had a great start, it’s still more than half (of the season to go) so it’s still very difficult - we want to win every game and everybody who comes in is doing an incredible job.”
City’s opening goal came via an unlikely source – German midfielder Ilkay Gundogan heading Pep’s side in front on 14 minutes.
And the German star admitted his goal was especially sweet given the injury heartache Ilkay went through last term when he missed the second half of the season with a serious knee injury.
“I have been through tough times so especially games like today where you are able to improve your self-confidence are very important. Today was a good day,” Ilkay admitted.
“It was an incredible performance.
“We are happy to beat a team like Tottenham. I was a bit surprised that I was free (for his goal from a corner), I guess the Spurs players didn’t know I am strong at that!”
