Vincent Kompany is out with a minor calf strain while Sergio Aguero and Raheem Sterling drop to the bench.
Fabian Delph and David Silva are all also absent from City’s squad for the clash with Crystal Palace.
Delph and Kompany were considered possibilities for the Selhurst Park clash but with Watford visiting the Etihad in 48 hours neither have been risked.
John Stones is on the bench and could play for the first time since damaging his hamstring against Leicester last month.

Formation:
With Sergio Aguero and Raheem Sterling on the bench, expect Leroy Sane to be Gabriel Jesus’ main support in attack.
Skipper Fernandinho will anchor the midfield with Ilkay Gundogan, Bernardo Silva and Kevin De Bruyne the creative hub behind the attackers.
Palace wing threat
It could be a big afternoon for City full-backs Danilo and Kyle Walker.
Wilfried Zaha has been in sparkling form for the Eagles of late and alongside Andros Townsend, the hosts have pace, trickery and power.
Christian Benteke can be a handful for any defence on his day and Yohan Cabaye has the technical ability to unlock the best of defences.
Make no mistake, this will be a tough game against a revitalised Palace.
The last time...
Stats and possible milestones
City have won 14 of the last 15 meetings with Palace...
The Blues could become the first team since 1938 to beat a team 5-0 consecutively three times in the unlikely event of a 5-0 away win - the last team to do it? City against Derby!
City could equal Bayern Munich’s record of 19 league wins in a row with victory at Selhurst Park - a stat taken from Europe’s top five leagues.
City would set a new Premier League record of 12 victories in succession on the road with a win today having already equalled Chelsea’s 11-win sequence
