Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola made just one change to his starting XI for the Premier League game against Bournemouth.

French full back Bacary Sagna is back in the side with his compatriot Gael Clichy sitting this one out.

Elsewhere Willy Caballero keeps his place in goal, as does new striker Gabriel Jesus.

City XI: Caballero, Sagna, Sterling, Kolarov, De Bruyne, Sane, Silva (c), Stones, Fernandinho, G Jesus, Toure

Subs: Bravo, Kompany, Fernando, Nolito, Aguero, Delph, Otamendi

Formation

It’s always an intriguing task second guessing the formation and tactics, but it looks like City will set up in a four-one-four-one formation against the Cherries.

If that is the case Fernandinho should feature at right-full back, with Bacary Sagna taking up a central defensive role alongside John Stones. Aleks Kolarov would shift over to the left.

Yaya Toure has been occupying the sitting midfield role, behind a fluid four of Raheem Sterling, David Silva, Kevin De Bruyne and Leroy Sane. Jesus, who has scored three in his last two games, should spearhead the attack.

Bournemouth XI: Boruc, Smith, Francis (C), Cook, Daniels, Surman, Arter, Wilshere, Ibe, Fraser, King.

Subs: Allsop, Mings, Smith, Gosling, Pugh, Stanislas, Afobe.
