In the English FA Cup, Aaron Mooy helped Huddersfield to a 4-0 thrashing of Rochdale, having been introduced from the bench on 69 minutes on his return from injury.
Within minutes, he set up Michael Hefele for the Terriers’ third and also played a key role in the fourth.
In Holland, City’s trio of loanees at Twente were victorious at Zwolle, although Bersant Celina was sent off on 49 minutes for kicking out.
Enes Unal was brought off on 81 minutes, while Yaw Yeboah was an unused substitute.
