David Silva was voted City's Player of the Year for 2016/17 - here we take a closer look at the stats behind his impressive campaign.

During 2016/17, Silva played more minutes per game than any other season since he joined the Blues.

In all competitions, his average of 81.02 minutes per game is more than three minutes more than his previous campaign and almost 10 minutes more than his first season in 2010/11.

Silva is a model of consistency, with his 86.72% passing accuracy virtually the same every season since he joined - it’s slightly higher than last season and his highest since 2013/14.

With eight goals, he equalled his second highest tally for the Blues and his 45 appearances is his most yet for City.
