The Confederations Cup is reaching its climax and Wednesday could see two Manchester City players go head to head at the semi-final stage.

Bernardo Silva’s Portugal, who beat New Zealand 4-0 on Saturday to qualify for the last four, will play Claudio Bravo’s Chile in Kazan with a place in the final at stake.

Silva was man of the match in Portugal’s second group game against Russia and then scored in the win over New Zealand at the weekend.

He was withdrawn at half time against the Kiwis after suffering an ankle injury but it isn’t thought to be serious and he is expected to be involved on Wednesday. 

And Bravo returned to action after a two-month injury layoff as Chile drew 1-1 with Australia to book their last-four spot.
