Tactics

Bravo, Zabaleta and Stones should come in as direct replacements for Willy Caballero, Bacary Sagna and Aleks Kolarov respectively at the back.

In midfield, Fernandinho dropping to the bench means Yaya Toure is likely to assume the holding midfield role.

With winger Raheem Sterling restored to the side, he should take up duties on the right flank, opposite Leroy Sane on the other side, but they could well switch depending on the pattern of play.

Creative midfielders David Silva and Kevin De Bruyne will be charged with providing striker Sergio Aguero with the ammunition up front.

Boro: Guzan, Barragan, Bernardo, Gibson, Fabio, Clayton, Leadbitter, De Roon, Stuani, Traore, Gestede

Subs: Valdes, Husband, Fry, Forshaw, Fischer, Ramirez, Negredo
